We understand your concern about the status of your package in Japan. Here’s some information that may clarify the situation:
- International Shipment Process: If the tracking shows your package has reached Japan, and the status is "dispatch from outward office of exchange," it means your package has left Japan and is likely in transit to your country.
- Transit and Delivery Process: Packages shipped internationally from Japan often travel by air(Except for Surface Mail) and may require transit through one or more intermediate countries or states before reaching the final destination. Please note that some countries do not have direct flights from Japan, which can extend transit times.
- Tracking Updates: After leaving Japan, it's normal for there to be a delay in tracking updates for several days or even weeks, especially while the package is in transit through neutral countries. Tracking typically resumes once the package arrives in the destination country and undergoes customs clearance.
- Delivery Timeline: The time it takes for your package to clear customs and reach you depends on the customs and postal procedures in your country. We recommend monitoring the tracking information as it progresses through these stages.
- Ninoma's Role: Once the package has left Japan, Ninoma does not have control over the delivery process. We rely on international postal services and their partners to ensure the safe delivery of your package.
Australia and Canada Small Packet:
All of our shipping options come with tracking numbers that allow you to track your package on websites such as 17TRACK and Parcels.
However, some countries may not support online tracking.
Notably, shipments sent via Small Packet to Australia and Canada (and potentially other countries) may not update tracking information beyond the "dispatch from outward office of exchange" status once they reach Japan.
Although tracking information may not update further, rest assured that your package is still on its way and will typically arrive without issues.
Surface Mail Delivery Time:
Surface mail typically takes 3-4 months for standard delivery time.
This method involves shipping by sea, which is why tracking updates may not occur regularly during transit.
If the last tracking update shows "dispatch from outward office of exchange" from Japan, this indicates your package has left Japan and is en route to the destination country.
It's normal for tracking information not to update while the package is at sea. Updates will resume once the package arrives in your country and goes through customs clearance.
For Surface mail shipments, it's common to see the tracking status as "Expired." This status does not mean the package is lost but reflects the extended delivery timeline associated with Surface shipping.
Due to the nature of Surface mail, we appreciate your patience as your package makes its way to you.
We appreciate your patience during this process. If you have specific concerns or if there are significant delays beyond what is typical, please feel free to contact our customer service team for further assistance.
